Sympathy is extended to Theresa Henry and her family in the death of her sister, Donna Hodge, and to the family of Joy Ivey. Joy was a classmate of Robert Alexander and had been actively involved in organizing class reunions.
Ralph and Brenda Self, along with other members of the car club, visited the car museum in Tupelo. They also went to Gainesville, Texas, recently to visit Ralph’s sister.
The congregation of Sand Hill Baptist Church conducted ordination services for the Rev. Butch Bingham whom they have called to become their pastor.
Jane Bell and Earline Daugherty recently visited with Robert and Jeannette Alexander.
Peggy Alexander is recovering from recent knee surgery, which was done in Greenwood. She has begun therapy in Kosciusko.
Vira Oakes is doing fairly well. She has very bad arthritis and this rainy, cold weather makes her hurt. Her son, James, has also had pneumonia. Vira has good help from Melissa and all her family members.
Larry Howard was in Tupelo last Thursday for grandson Nolan’s soccer game. He also got a big hug from granddaughter Acy Jane. Sandra did not go as she was busy celebrating Robert Ellington’s birthday. Her brother Tommy Ellington from Texas was also here. Other family members attended the celebration at Carmack Fish House.
On Friday, Sandra and Larry attended the MAIS conference is Jackson.
