Deputies are investigating a robbery where two men drove an SUV into the business and stole an ATM near the Leake and Attala county line.
At approximately 3 a.m. Sunday morning deputies with the Attala County Sheriff’s Department responded to a business on Hwy. 35 S after the owners of the business told 911 that someone crashed into the front of their building. Officials said the two owners were inside the store when the incident happened and they hid in the bathroom.
The two males, who are thought to have been driving a white or cream colored SUV, gained access by crashing into the front of the business. Once inside the suspects took an ATM and loaded it into the SUV, which officials believe to be stolen.
