NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and a thunderstorm can occur tomorrow from the
central Gulf Coast states into Tennessee. Showers may make
it as far north as the Ohio Valley. From eastern New Mexico
into West Texas and portions of the Plains, an elevated risk
of wildfires can be present due to gusty winds of 30 to 50
mph, dry brush and low humidity. Otherwise, general mountain
snow and valley showers are expected for the Intermountain
West. There may be gusty thunderstorms capable of producing
small hail in the Central Valley of California. Outside of
precipitation, warmth will stretch across much of the nation
from the Plains into the Great Lakes with temperatures
expected to be 5 to 20 degrees above historical averages.
Meanwhile, the Southeast may have temperatures closer to
average.
