NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers will spread across the eastern Ohio Valley,
mid-Atlantic and northern Southeast tomorrow. In northern
Virginia, eastern West Viriginia, and western Maryland
heavier rain and downpours can lead to flash flooding,
especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Meanwhile,
spotty afternoon and evening thunderstorms will rumble
across the Florida peninsula. In the Southwest, unseasonably
hot weather will continue with many places breaking daily
and monthly record-high temperatures. After a stretch of
unseasonably warm weather it will breezy and slightly cooler
across the northern Rockies. In the Plains, a steady breeze
will pick up during the day, with primarily sunny skies.
There will be a brief but noticeable cool down. Warm, sunny
and dry weather will persist across New England.
