NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms can bring flooding downpours, hail and
localized damaging winds gusts to the Northeast and Ohio
Valley tomorrow, mainly in the afternoon. A zone of high
pressure will continue to promote very hot and humid
conditions in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Elsewhere,
thunderstorms can cause flooding across the southern
portions of the lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Afternoon
thundershowers will dot the southern Rockies and the desert
Southwest. Very hot and dry weather will continue in the San
Joaquin and Sacramento valleys in California. Showers and
thunderstorms can erupt along the South Carolina and Georgia
coast during the morning then spread inland and to the
Florida Peninsula during the afternoon hours. Cool and damp
weather will begin across the Pacific Northwest.
