NATIONAL SUMMARY
With an upper low still lingering in the area, rain will
continue into the morning hours in the coastal Northeast
tomorrow. Farther west, a separate area of rain will be in
place in the Midwest, before shifting eastward during the
evening hours. Thunderstorms are expected across much of the
Southeast and southern Plains, some of which may turn
severe. This is most likely from Texas eastward into Georgia
and the Carolinas, with storms being limited to the evening
hours across the East. Hail, damaging winds and perhaps a
tornado are expected, along with localized flooding. Farther
west, a few showers and storms are likely in the Rockies and
Great Basin.
