The Nation's Weather for Sunday, May 7, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms are expected once again tomorrow, with
storms developing in central and western Texas during the
evening hours. Large hail and damaging winds will once again
be the primary threats. Farther north across much of the
Midwest, stretching from Iowa into Missouri and Illinois, a
few additional severe storms are expected during the late
afternoon and evening hours. Later at night, a line of
storms may shift farther east, impacting portions of
Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky during the overnight hours.
Should this occur, damaging winds will be the main threat,
though hail or even a tornado would also be possible.
Elsewhere, a lingering storm system will keep unsettled
weather around in the northern Rockies and Pacific
Northwest.
