Two semi-trailer trucks have appear to collided and caught fire Friday morning, July 25 on Highway 12 near Attala Road 4121, prompting authorities to close a portion of the highway and urge drivers to find an alternate route.

With a come-from behind victory over Choctaw Central, Kosciusko is assured the Region 4-4 girls soccer championship and number one seed for the 4A state tournament.
After Choctaw County took a 1-0 halftime lead, the Lady Whippets scored twice in the final 20 minutes for the 2-1 victory.
