Kosciusko began the 2026 volleyball season with a 25-22, 25-20, 25-21 loss to Ethel, the state runnerup in 1A a year ago.
“It was a very close and tense match,” said Kosciusko coach Billy Pearson.
Kosciusko won Region 4-4A last year and reached the second round of the MHSAA playoffs.
