Nell Stevens Adams, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Vicksburg, MS.Nell was born January 14, 1927, to the late Troy and Elvia Stevens of Attala County, MS.Nell graduated from Ethel High School in 1945. She was a member of Carson Ridge Baptist Church in Ethel, MS. She was married to the late William Claude Adams who passed away in 1982.Nell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude; three brothers, Adron Stevens, Delane Stevens and Raymond Stevens; two sisters, Joyce Stevens Steed and Alice Stevens Angel.Nell is survived by three children, Tony Adams (Debra) of Carrolton, MS, Terry Adams (Karen) of Woodbury, GA, and Teresa Brooks (Tony) of Vicksburg, MS; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friend, Mr. Bob McCrory.There will be a graveside service Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Carson Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. with services at 3 p.m.Pallbearers will be Kevin Adams, Dan Adams, Todd Brooks, Braden Adams, Conner Adams and Kelly Adams.
