Lawana Culpepper, 87, passed away Friday, December 31, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.Funeral services were Saturday, January 2, 2021, graveside at Rocky Point Cemetery in Leake County.Lawana was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Culpepper; her parents, Carlton and Verla Moore Poole; and her sister, Ann Withers.She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Landrum and her husband, David; her grandsons, Nicholas Shelton and his wife, Nickie, and Nathan Landrum and his wife, Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Trace, Kiker, Garrison, Emma and Annie Grace.She also is survived by her extended family at Castlewood’s Place in Brandon, where she had resided for the last six years.She was a member of Kosciusko First Baptist Church and a retired bank officer with the Attala National Bank in Kosciusko.
