Jerry Lee Boudousquie was born on Dec. 17, 1950 in Jackson, to Ingram Elmo “Buddy” Boudousquie and Myrleen Cummings Boudousquie. Jerry passed away at Gulfport Memorial from multiple myeloma. He spent most of his life in Canton, attending Canton High School and graduating from Canton Academy. He completed the mechanics course at Holmes Community College. He was a talented mechanic working many years at Harreld Chevrolet. He completed his teacher certification at MSU, teaching several years at the Canton Vocational Center. Jerry enjoyed years of motorcycle riding, boating and hunting.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Cora Boudousquie of Madison, Homer and Georgia Cummings of Canton, and his father, Buddy Boudousquie of Canton. He is survived by two sons, Michael Boudousquie of Pearl and Jaimie Boudousquie of Brookhaven; two grandchildren, Conner and Chloe Boudousquie of Starkville; his 93-year-old mother, Myrleen Boudousquie of Nashville; three sisters, Jean Warrington (Allen) of Kosciusko, Barbara Metcalfe of Flowood and Renee Waits (Billy) of Nashville; nephews, Allen Warrington (J.J) of Kosciusko and James Metcalfe of Flowood; nieces, Laurie Fleming (Josh) of Jackson, Emily Waits Windham (Brennon), and Whitney Waits Wall (Jackson); two great-nephews, Harvey Warrington and Garrett Fleming; and great-niece, Hazel Warrington.Memorials can be made to French Camp Academy, one fine place, French Camp, MS 39745.A graveside service will be held at Canton Cemetery on Dec. 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Walt Grayson conducting the service.Pallbears are Allen Warrington, Sr., Allen Warrington Jr., James Metcalfe, Josh Fleming, Billy Waits, and Jaimie Boudousquie.
