Mr. James Douglas Pender, 77, of Bolivar, TN, passed away on November 3, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. Mr. Pender was born on November 8, 1942, in Martinez, CA, and was the only child of Josephine King Pender and Robert Frank Pender. Mr. Pender resided in Martinez, CA, until 1970, when he moved to Memphis, TN.Mr. Pender was the ward of Fannie Lou Pender, Sally Pender Britt and finally Mitchell Britt, his cousin. A graveside service will be held at New Salem Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, with Rev. Joe Young of Charleston, MS, presiding over the ceremony.
