Mr. Dennis W. “Sundance” Newsom, 62, of Hickory Flat, passed away January 11, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Art Land and Rev. Ronnie Spears will officiate. Mr. Newsom worked as a truck driver for most of his life. For the past 22 ½ years, he drove for Wal-Mart. He is survived by his wife, Cyndi Newsom of Hickory Flat; mother, Shirley Newsom of Kosciusko; daughter, Amy Newsom of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Kristen Watler of Spanish Fort, AL; brother, Larry (Cindy) Newsom of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Ford, Saylor Jane and Lakely Watler; nephew, Jake Newsom; niece, Amie Guttery. He is preceded in death by his father, Dinson D. Newsom. Pallbearers will be Joe Chipley, Tom Jordan, Mark Massey, Zach Guttery, Kevin Riley, Jeremy Watler.
