PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi man apparently killed his estranged wife, their son and the son’s ex-wife before turning the gun on himself, authorities said Friday.
The shooting happened Thursday between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at a home in the Latimer community of Jackson County, news outlets reported.
Sheriff Mike Ezell said a deputy responded to a 911 call after receiving a report of a shooting. When he arrived, he heard a single gunshot from the house, Ezell said.
That final shot is believed to have been the one that killed 64-year-old Thomas Griswold. The deputy also found the bodies of Veronica Griswold, 64, Bjorn Griswold, 36, and his ex-wife, Jillian Pavolini, 39.
The case remains under investigation.
