This yearly event honors and recognizes women. The theme for this year’s event was “Who’s at The Table?” The “Women in Touch” conference is 20 years old and was started Nov. 2, 2002 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, by Servant, Leader Apostle Deloris Brown-Thompson. The mission is to bring women together for encouragement, empowerment, support, honor and recognition that helps all women to be better women, wives, mothers, sisters and friends. Over the years, many have come and been blessed, have enjoyed the love demonstrated and experienced, said Brown-Thompson. She said there have been three women birthed out in ministry after attending “Women in Touch” conference. She said she is “so thankful to be able to do this again this year in the big city of Kosciousko.” She thanked all of the conference donors, including Sunflower, Renasant Bank, Central Mississippi Office Supply, Vintage Treasures Flea Market and American Cash.
