Greater New Jericho M.B. Church
A benefit program will be held on March 3 at 5 p.m at Greater New Jericho M.B. Church for Mr. David “Goober” Lee. David is the son of The Late Mr. David “Hunch” Lee and Mrs. Virginia Lee of Sallis and is battling cancer. Special guests will be the Gospel Travelers of Weir, The Sallis Southernairs of Sallis, Soloist Mrs. Sonya Cross, Soloist Evangelist Tracillya Nelson, Greater New Jericho Adult Choir and Big Mt. Zion Inspirational Choir of Tchula. All surrounding church choirs and soloist are more than welcome to participate. If you cannot attend and would like to make a donation to this cause, you can make checks payable to Mr. David Lee and mail them to Greater New Jericho Church 2294 Attala Road 4225 Sallis, MS 39160.
Traveler’s Rest
Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church will be having their “Black History Program” on Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jerome Garland of Buffalo United Methodist Church.
Abundant Life
Abundant Life Church of God will be selling chicken plates and hosting a Valentine’s Day Fun event on Friday, Feb 15, at 6 p.m. Events include games, a cake walk, and face painting. Plates include half a chicken, potato salad, baked beans, roll, dessert, and tea for $10. Plates are at 6 p.m. but will deliver for lunch.
Bethlehem Church of Sallis
Celebrates Pastor Dr. Darrell G. Brooks and First Lady Betty 7th Pastoral Anniversary on March 3 at 2:30 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Leroy Lacy of Truelight Church in Canton.
Second Baptist Church

Indian Springs Assembly of God will be serving a Ribeye Steak Supper Saturday, Feb. 16 beginning at 4 p.m. Suggested donation for Steak Plates will be $15 and for Chicken Tenders Plates will be $12.
