Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wilbanks of Carthage announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Carol, to Jacob Layne Shelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Shelley of Thomastown.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margie McKinney and the late Bennie Ray McKinney. She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dayle Wilbanks all of Carthage.
Miss Wilbanks is a 2006 graduate of Leake Academy. She attended East Central Community College and received her Associate Degree in nursing. She is currently employed with Premier Medical Clinic in Carthage.
Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Mrs. Alice Gray and the late Howard Langdon. He is also the grandson of the late Thomas and Hattie Shelley all of Thomastown.
He is a 2008 graduate of Leake Academy. He is currently employed with Shelley Excavation, LLC President/Owner.
The couple will be united in marriage Saturday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Shane McGivney officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Wilbanks.
