Elizabeth Pepper and Samuel Martin engaged
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Holloway Pepper of Canton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Elisabeth Hart Pepper, to Samuel Clayton Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. David N. Martin of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charlie Ray Sinclair of Lexington, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Graydon Patrick Pepper of Pickens.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Martin of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. John C. White of Kosciusko.
Miss Pepper graduated as valedictorian at Canton Academy in 2013. She graduated magna cum laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at The University of Mississippi in 2017, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
At The University of Mississippi, she was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity.
Miss Pepper currently attends The University of Mississippi School of Law and will earn her juris doctor in 2020. She is employed by Frye & Reeves P.L.L.C. in Oxford.
Mr. Martin graduated in 2012 from Madison Central High School. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public
Policy Leadership and minor in Southern Studies. Mr. Martin was a member of the Trent Lott Leadership Institute, a member of the Kappa Alpha Order and a member of the Ole Miss Law Moot Court Board.
Mr. Martin graduated with Honors from The University of Mississippi School of Law where he earned his juris doctor in December 2018. He is a practicing attorney with Rutledge and Davis P.L.L.C. in New Albany.
The couple will exchange vows on June 1, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Flora, with a reception following at the Reunion Golf & Country Club in Madison.
