Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy W. Cockroft of Kosciusko are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Margaret, to Mr. William Steven White, Jr., son Mr. and Mrs. William S. White, Sr. of Madison.
Miss Cockroft is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Bailey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Cockroft, all of Kosciusko.
Mr. White is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Duluth Phifer of Cairo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Bynum White of Booneville.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Kosciusko High School. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 2009 and a Masters of Taxation in 2010. At Mississippi State, Mary Margaret was a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity and served as an Alumni Delegate. She is a corporate tax accountant at C Spire in Ridgeland.
The future groom is a 2007 graduate of Madison Central High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in Management of Construction and Land Development from Mississippi State University in 2011, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is currently employed as a District Sales Manager for Gulf States Manufacturers.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on October 1, 2016, at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison with a reception to follow at the Lake at Livingston.
