Kosciusko Middle Elementary recently held an accelerated reading ceremony to honor second grade students for their efforts in reading this year. Over 160 students who had earned 25 points or more this year were given brag tags. Reading flashlights were awarded to 110 students who had earned 50 points or more.
The 75 point club was made up of 46 students who received silver medallions. The students were Toweeka Brown, Kade Petty, Emerson Powers, Michelle Yang, Nora Grace Grubbs, Kingston Lee, Nickolas Carter, Jessalyn Coats, Truett Berry, Xavier Ashford, Ja’Derius Wilkes, Hayes Tyler, Kamryn Aguilar, Harley Crittenden, Jamal Stewart, James Chestnut, Gabrielle Atlas, Greyson Kyle, Mamie Thompson, Aniyshia Gladney, Pierre Roby, Landon Cameron, Choice Toliver,Tanner Pettit, Jontavious Roundtree, Brody Gowan, Zanyla Peteet, Destiny Kirkwood, Leeanna Biggart, Marleigh Dabbs, Nathan Olsen, Brianna Biggart, Jadyn Dural, Valeria Torres, Allie Grace Gibson, Brenton Hill , Kendrion Latiker, James Dalton Cummins, Jayvese Meeks, Sabreya Guyton, Deshawn Johnson, Rylee Peteet, Hill Armon, Aziah Gillum, Ana Washington, Ka’myla Tucker.
Seventeen students also joined the 100 point club winning a gold medallion. The 150 plus point winners received an invitation to a special party at the end of the school year. Those students were Rylee Peteet, MichelleYang, Nora Grace Grubbs, and Ana Washington.
