From press and staff reports
Kosciusko-Attala CTC Educator Preparation (Ed Prep) students are leading a meaningful community service initiative through the Educators Rising Stuffed Animal Service Project. The project encourages students, staff, and community members to donate new stuffed animals that will be delivered to Children’s of Mississippi Hospital to bring comfort to young patients.
All donated stuffed animals must be new with tags, no larger than 20 inches tall, and must not include sound chips, moving parts, or electronics. Donations can be dropped off at the Kosciusko-Attala CTC on or before January 30, 2026. Every stuffed animal collected will be donated directly to Children’s of Mississippi Hospital to help brighten a child’s hospital stay.
Community members are encouraged to participate by donating or helping spread the word. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of children facing medical challenges, and this project gives everyone an opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause.
