Evelyn Marie Ivey Ellington

Evelyn Ellington, 86, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at her home in Kosciusko.

Funeral services were held noon Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home. Burial followed at Parkway Cemetery.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Robert Ellington, sons Terry Ellington (Betty), Tommy Ellington (Jennifer), daughter Sandra Howard (Larry), brother Chuck Ivey (Julia), sisters Karen Clanton (Charles), Fay Gerald, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Jewel Harger Ivey, her grandsons Tony Crosby, Dylan Ellington and sisters Carol Payne and Joy Ivey.

Pallbearers were Max Burdine, Bradley Clanton, Robert Wayne Ellington, Taylor Ellington, Sebastian Guinin and Clint Howard. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Burdine, Tara Howard, Peggy Shelley, and Bobby Ray Edwards.
