Another strong performance by Jorge Orduna led Kosciusko to a fourth-place finish in a cross country meet at Collinsville. He was third out of 88 runners with a time of 18:49.7 for 5,000 meters.
He was followed by freshman Daniel Van, 16th with a time of 21:17.5.
“Van is coming on strong. He had a really strong race,” said Coach Greg Cooper.
Other Kosciusko runners – Lem Whitcomb 39th, Cole Wilson 41st, Christian Covarrubias 42nd, Grayson Blaylock 55th, Cooper Sparks 56th, Rodrigo Arvizu 58th and Tuff Shaw 80th. Shaw returned to action after missing time with strep throat.
Kosciusko will compete in a race Saturday at Choctaw Trails in Jackson, site of the state meet.week has the corrected name.
