Martha McGee, 98, of Weir, MS, passed away August 23, 2021 at Winston County Nursing Center.
Funeral services are Friday, August 27, at 10 a.m. at Weir Baptist Church with burial to follow at Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Weir Baptist Church. Rev. Jared Busby will be ministering.
She was a member of Weir Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and farmer. She was her husband’s right-hand person on the farm.
Mrs. McGee is survived by two sons, John Reeves McGee (Mary) and David McGee (Phyllis), both of McCool, MS; two daughters, Annell McGill (Ron) of Scottsboro, AL, and Donna McGee of West Monroe, LA; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reeves McGee; parents, Winston Dewitt “Buster” and Laura Roberta Gladney Thompson; four brothers; and one sister.
