NOTICE OF PROPOSED AD VALOREM
TAX EFFORT
KOSCIUSKO SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Kosciusko School District will hold a public hearing on its proposed school district budget which includes Local, State and Federal Funds for the 2024-2025 school year. This meeting will be held at the Kosciusko School Administration Office on July 15, 2024 at 5:45pm.
The Kosciusko School District is now operating with projected total budget revenue of $25,773,886.77. Twenty-one (21%) or $5,415,465.48 of such revenue is obtained through ad valorem taxes. For the next fiscal year, the proposed budget has total projected revenue of $25,550,922.46. Of that amount, twenty-one (21%) or $5,525,594.95 is proposed to be financed through a total ad valorem tax levy.
For the next fiscal year, the Kosciusko School District plans to increase your ad valorem tax millage rate by 0 mills. Millage rate will continue at 51.45 mills. Ad valorem taxes are paid on ***homes, automobiles tags, ***business fixtures and equipment, and rental property.
Any citizen of the Kosciusko School District is invited to attend this public hearing.
