Ms. Estma Leora Riley Wigley was born on May 9, 1921.
She taught in the Attala County School System for 36 years and retired from Long Creek Elementary School in 1986. She taught first, second and third grades.
She loved working with children and was a mother figure to many. She is a resident of Golden Ages in Greenwood.
Her birthday was celebrated with a drive through parade, prayers, singing, birthday wishes and gifts. In attendance were family, friends and facility staff. She is the oldest surviving member of the Bates and Riley families.
