Attala County supervisors have issued a burn ban effective immediately until significant rainfall is received.
The ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including campfires, bonfires, and fireworks.
The ban is necessary due to the dry conditions. A small fire could quickly spread out of control in the dry weather.
