Would you believe that players with the third and fourth highest career batting averages are not in the Baseball Hall of Fame? Ty Cobb with the highest average of .366 and Rogers Hornsby, second at .358, are in the Hall.

Central Holmes Christian School girls fast-pitch softball falls in tourney

The Central Holmes Christian School girls fast-pitch softball team was eliminated from the North 3A Tournament last Saturday at Liberty Park in Madison.
The Lady Trojans, who end their first season under coach Tony Terry with a 15-12 record, went 1-2 at the tournament.
