To the Citizens of Attala County:
After some time and consideration, I (Robert M. Ellis) have decided to withdraw my candidacy for Supervisor Beat 1 of Attala County. I have been blessed with an opportunity to go back to the workforce of Attala County with Entergy and while I would be honored with the chance to serve the people of Beat 1, I could not give the supervisor position the attention it deserves my new role.
I want to thank everyone who has reached out already with support and words of encouragement. It meant the world to me to know my fellow citizens had faith in me to possibly serve as Supervisor. While I am withdrawing from this race, I’m again blessed to be a servant of the public by continuing my current position as Alderman Ward 3 for the City of Kosciusko.
I want to wish all the candidates for Beat 1 the best of luck. I look forward to Attala County’s bright future ahead.
