Hopewell M.B. Church will celebrate the 24-year pastoral anniversary of Pastor Annie K. Robinson and Deacon Henry Robinson on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. at Sequoia’s Center in Durant. The guest speaker for this special occasion will be the Rev. Amos Hightower, pastor of West M.B. Church and New Beginning. Everyone is asked to wear a mask.

Marble Rock M.B. Church will hold a fall revival. The event will start Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. and will continue Aug. 15-16 at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Kelly Miller, pastor of Jones Chapel M.B. Church in Carthage. The church is still practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

Palestine Missionary Baptist Church Usher Board Ministry invites the public to a singing extravaganza at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13. The guest speaker will be Pastor Martha Jones of Heaven Is Our Goal Ministry and New Center Ridge M.B. Church. Because of an increase in COVID numbers, those attending are asked to wear a mask.
