The season did not end the way Ohio State fans hoped but the Buckeye increased their lead in al-time winning percentage among FBS teams and end of year AP rankings for each year since the AP poll began in 1936. OSU was 12-2 ranked fourth. Alabama, second in both categories, was 11-4 ranked ninth.
Cumulative AP with 25 points for end-of-year top ranking down to 1 for 25th.
