Evelyn Downs Grice, 80, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Evelyn was born February 18, 1940, in Winona, MS, to the late Louie Lee and Dorothy McCoy Downs.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She had worked as a florist and was retired from Firestone where she was a supervisor.
Evelyn is survived by her four children, son, Kenneth “Kevin” Grice, daughters, Susan Minchew, Nancy Jo Parrish and Janice Elizabeth Johnson (Rob); brothers, Gerrell Downs (Kathy) and Randy Downs (Shelia); sister, Judy Clark (Cotton); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held.
