Wes Rouse has joined Magnolia State Bank in Hattiesburg as Vice President and Commercial Lender. Previously the vice president of Commercial Lending then vice President of Premier Banking at BancorpSouth in Hattiesburg, Rouse adds exceptional leadership and knowledge to the Hattiesburg Magnolia State Bank office.
Rouse’s roots in Hattiesburg are exceptional and extensive. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi for both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and his Master of Business Administration. He has provided leadership to the Hattiesburg community through his service on a multitude of boards and committees, such as his involvement as ADP Chamber of Commerce Division Chair, ADP Leadership Pine Belt Steering Committee Co-Chair, and past board member on the Hattiesburg Public School District Education Foundation Board. Rouse is currently a member of the United Way Board and the MS Young Bankers Executive Committee.
Having been educated in Wealth Management for Private Bankers from the Cannon Financial Institute and LSU Graduate School of Banking and receiving his Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation, Wes Rouse will undoubtedly uphold the safety, security, and convenience in banking that Magnolia State Bank customers expect and trust.

DuBard director re-elected to International Board
Maureen K. Martin, director of the DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of Southern Mississippi, was re-elected to the board of directors for the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), an accrediting organization for multisensory structured language education training courses.
Martin, a founding IMSLEC board member in 1995, will continue to build upon her 20 years of service with another three-year term. Additionally, she currently serves on the board of directors for the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is the author of a book used in professional training of speech-language pathologists, Oral and Written Communication Disorders (2012).
HC welcomes Elizabeth White to endocrinology group
Elizabeth A. White, CNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Endocrinology as an adult nurse practitioner specializing in diabetes care.
She earned her Master of Science in nursing and a Post-Master of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tenn.
White is dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the National Certification Corporation.
She is a member of Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Mississippi Nurses Association and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
