The Kosciusko-Attala County Dr. Martin Luther King Commemoration Committee will host a car parade and birthday program on Monday, Jan. 18, in downtown Kosciusko.
This year’s theme is “Keeping the Dream Alive – This too shall pass.”
The car parade will begin at 10 a.m. on West Jefferson Street. Elected officials, local churches, organization, and fire departments are invited to participate.
The birthday program will follow in the parking lot on East Jefferson Street. Dr. Marvin K. Myles, pastor of Christian Liberty M. B. Church, will be the keynote speaker. All attendees must remain in their cars for the program.
