The Volunteer Center is moving to the Church of Christ on Huntington Street and needs volunteers to help them move on Friday and Saturday, March 22  starting at 3 p.m. and on March 23 from 8 a.m. until done. Deeper Still

The “Deeper Still” class will meet March 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sallis Baptist Church. The subject will be Warfare - The Invisible War: 1) Why Are We At War?  2) Who Are We At War With?  3)  What Are His Tactics?  4) How Can We Win The Daily Battle?

Youth revival

Bethlehem Church of Sallis will be holding their Youth Revival April 1 through April 3  at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

Annual hat show

Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor Riley will hold the Annual Hat Show on Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m., hosted by First Lady Riley. Theme is “Wear Your Crown.” The program guide will be Sister Delois Felder of St. Luther M. B. Church of Jackson, MS. Cost to enter is $10. Categories:  1. Children & Youth

The great Spring garage sale

Clean out your closets or your attic and help a worthy cause, or just come out and shop on April 5 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon. It will be held at Moore’s Station on Highway 82, next to Natalie’s Park at Carrollton. The Women on Missions from the Carrollton Baptist Church will have clothes, linens, curtains, furniture, decor, kitchen stuff, sports equipment and even Christmas decorations. Proceeds from the sale will go to local mission efforts, such as Mission Hope in Winona. To make arrangements to donate items for the sale, contact Rebecca Lancaster at 662-392-0218.

Rehoboth Place
The Church of the Family of God Rehoboth Place will hold its Overseers Celebration on April 28 at 3:30 p.m.  “Great is thy Faithfulness.” Jer 3:15.  Apostle Stephanie Hill and Pastor Freddie Hill.  Guest speaker is Pastor Burkley Thompson of Macedonia M.B. Church, Kosciusko.

Abraham Chapel

Abraham Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Spring Revival service will begin Sunday, April 7, at 3 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday April 10 at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest Ministers: Sunday, Dr. Cleotis Woods; Monday, Dr. Marvin K. Myles, Sr; Tuesday, Reverend Lonnie Henry and Wednesday, Reverend Osie Gray. Easter Program will be Sunday, April 14, during the 11 a.m. worship service. The Quarterly Business Meeting will be Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. Combined Choir Day will be held Sunday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m.

First United Pentecostal Church

Look online for Kosciusko FUPC Facebook Benefit Auction for Kenny Wade on March 24 – 30, 2019, to help with the cost of a liver transplant for him.  Modern Woodman of America will be matching up to $2500.  We will also be in the Picking 35 lineup April 6 at Gateway parking lot, across from Kangaroo Crossing, Rummage Sale 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Barbecue chicken sandwich with chips, dessert & water for $8. St. Matthews

St. Matthews Episcopal Church invites you to join Rev. Lee Winter each Wednesday night during Lent for a light Lenten Supper and study beginning at 6 p.m. The study will continue each Wednesday evening through April 10. Rev. Winter will guide us in a series authored by Walter Brueggemann. Books will be provided for all who wish to attend and dinner is free also.

Mt. Pilgrim M.B. Church

The Annual Spring Revival services will be through March 22 at 7 p.m. nightly.  Guest speakers are as follows. Wednesday will be Evangelist Ethel Primer, New Jerusalem M.B. Greater New Jericho M.B.

Greater New Jericho M.B. Church is raising funds for David “Goober” Lee.
