The Head Start facility in Attala County has been closed for a month with parents and students allowed no access to the building to retrieve personal items left there before administrative control was taken away from Central Mississippi, Inc. (CMI).
The Kosciusko School Board contracted with the Mississippi School Boards Association to conduct a search for the superintendent of the Kosciusko School District. Board officials announced this week they expect to to hire a new leader for the school district by Jan. 1.
