French Camp improved to 6-0 with two shutouts last week. The Panthers defeated Eupora 6-0 and Winona 11-0.
French Camp scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second and three in the third against Eupora while outhitting the Eagles 5-2.
McAdams won the Class I girls South State powerlifting meet for 1A and 2A schools held in Brookhaven last week and qualified eight lifters for the state meet. The top three in each weight class advance to the April 18 state meet at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson.

The opening match of the season for the Kosciusko golf team was delayed when a match scheduled for last week at Redbud Springs Country Club was canceled. “It was too wet. They weren't allowing anyone on the course,” said KHS coach Logan Cheek.
Central Holmes baseball coach Ty Dean knew before the beginning of the season that the two-game series with Carroll Academy would have a huge impact on which team made the playoffs.
