The MHSAA football championship games last Friday and Saturday at the University of Southern Mississippi M.M.
The Mississippi High School Activities Association will crown six football champions Friday and Saturday in games at the University of South Mississippi's M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg.

The French Camp boys basketball team won three of its first four games, but with room for improvement, according to coach Robert Leathers.
“We're still trying to figure out who we are,” he said. “We have a bunch of new guys.”
French Camp enjoyed an outstanding beginning of the basketball season with two victories each by the boys and girls teams. The boys defeated Starkville Christian 44-42 and Hebron 88-59. The Lady Panthers were winners against Starkville Christian 36-28 and Hebron 45-40.
Kosciusko finished tenth in the girls 4A state cross country meet and seventeenth in the boys meet last week.
Kosciusko entered five runners each in the boys and girls races, all underclassmen. Team scores were 278 for the girls and 450 for the boys.
