The Kosciusko girls soccer team broke back into the win column with a 6-0 shutout of Louisville on Tuesday. The win was the Lady Whippets’ first in Region 3-4A play this year, and it improved the team to 2-9 on the season.
Kosciusko split a pair of games against Morton and Ridgeland to improve to 10-2 this season.
Kosciusko, well-rested from its 11-day layoff, picked up its second win of the year last week in boys soccer action.
The Whippets shut out Winona 6-0 last Tuesday and dropped a 1-0 contest against Class 6A Pearl last Friday.
