Youth is the theme for both Kosciusko’s boys and girls soccer squads this season, but head coach Greg Cooper is confident enough in the abilities of his small number of returning players that he does not expect that youth to negatively impact both programs.
Jaquan Hall scored a team-high 17 points last Tuesday to help lead the Kosciusko boys to their first win of the season as the Whippets defeated Germantown 50-49. Hall was 6 of 11 from the field and 1 of 4 from 3-point territory.

After the previous week’s loss to West Lauderdale, Kosciusko head football coach Kelly Causey implored his players to stay the course.
West Lauderdale’s rushing attack gashed Kosciusko for 273 yards last Thursday as the Knights picked up a 41-7 road victory. School officials decided to move the scheduled Friday contest to Thursday due to the threat of inclement weather.
