In the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic, sports fans, coaches and athletes are ready for sports on all levels to return.
Nobody, including veteran Ethel High School head baseball coach Chris Schuster, thought the thing that would derail the Tigers’ shot at an MSAA Class 1A State Baseball Championship in 2020 was a virus that Mississippians never heard off.
Wil Browning was truly overwhelmed when He got the news that he was going to be inducted into the Holmes Community College Sports Hall of Fame.
“I’m ready to get started. I’m excited,” said first-year Ethel High School head football coach Adam Smith earlier this week. “I really haven’t gotten a chance to meet the players and that’s something I’m anxious to do.”
Casey Orr’s attention is now fully on his responsibilities as head football coach, teacher and assistant athletic director at Kosciusko High School.
Ethel High School fast-pitch softball coach Tyler McKinley is quick to admit that his Lady Tigers were in the midst of a few growing pains as the season was halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but he also notes his squad was beginning to improve.
