Randa Nicole Robertson and Arthur Neil (Jay) Hitchcock, Jr. were united in marriage at six in the evening on September 29, 2007, at Parkway Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Sherlene Mann Robertson of Kosciusko.
The groom is the son of Karen Higginbotham of Ridgeland and Neil Hitchcock of Mendenhall.
Dr. Joe M. Pate of Greenwood and Dr. Harold Kitchings, Jr., of Eustis, Fla., officiated.
Music was provided by Ceal Pate, pianist, and Trey Kitchings, vocalist.
The church featured four columns with the focal point being each column topped with green ferns, draped in white satin.
At the chiming of the hour, the bride entered the church, where the groom walked to meet her and escorted her to the altar.

Charming and romantic describes the beautiful strapless ivory gown worn by the bride. The pleated organza bustline, trimmed in bugle beads, pearl and silver embroidery, accented the empire waist. The waist was also accented by a band of satin champagne ribbon, tied in a French-knot. The fit and flare silhouette with a lace overlay was highlighted in back by satin covered buttons trailing down the entire length of the gown. Fortuni pleated organza created the semi-chapel train.

The bride wore a shoulder-length veil of organza accented with bugle beads and pearls. Her only jewelry was a pair of pearl and swarovski earrings, a gift from the groom. The bride and her attendants carried hand-tied bouquets of flame calla lilies made by her grandmother, Janie Mann Jackson.
The bride’s maid of honor was her sister, Cortney Robertson. Attendants were Liza Daniels, Sage Galligan, Presley Godbold, Erin Jansen, Benita Peacock, and Stephanie Trumm. They wore satin strapless cocktail length dresses in espresso, accented with champagne chiffon at the empire waistline.
Blake Hitchcock, the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Adam Butler, Matt Carpenter, Brent Long, Garret Nowell, Josh Revell, Chad Stokes, Hunter Bowering and Gavin Nowell. Junior usher was Brandon Milner.
Program attendants were Cassidy Darbonne of Grenada, and Ashley Milner, who also served as guest registry attendant and the bride’s proxy.
Jimmy Atwood drove the couple in his 1967 Pontiac to the outdoor reception at the home of Brian and Sandy McBride.
