Mary Ann Breedlove and Jack Wesley Riley were united in marriage at five o'clock in the evening on May 17, 2008, at Cedar Oaks Heritage House in Oxford.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Breedlove of Philadelphia and Ms. Ann Breedlove of Kosciusko. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Townsend of Kosciusko and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Breedlove of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Riley and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adkerson of Kosciusko. He is the grandson of Mrs. Elowese Riley and the late Jack Riley, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Brown, all of Kosciusko.
Mr. Lane Townsend, the bride's uncle, officiated the ceremony on the steps of the antebellum home. Violin music was provided by Miss Teresa Vaughn, and the bride's mother served as vocalist.
The bride wore an ivory strapless sheath Pronovias gown of re-embroidered lace over tulle with a chapel-length train. Her fingertip veil was trimmed with Chantilly lace which matched the lace on her gown. On her right hand, she wore an antique diamond ring that had been given to her by the groom on the evening before the wedding. She carried a bouquet of ivory calla lilies tied with white satin ribbon, and attached, she carried a handkerchief which had belonged to the groom's great-grandmother. Her pearl earrings and necklace were a gift from the groom on the first anniversary of their engagement.
J.J. Warrington attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Thornton, Amanda Kittrell, sisters of the bride; Susannah Wood; Lauren Walters; Micah Quinn; and Ashley Gainer. Nikki Riley, sister-in-law of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid. They wore strapless Pistachio floor-length gowns of tissue taffeta designed by Bill Levkoff. They carried bouquets of coral and white tulips. Annelise Thornton and Hunter Kittrell, niece and nephew of the bride, served as flower girl and ring bearer.
The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Riley, Chad Riley, brothers of the groom; Ryan Comfort; Christopher Stowe; Matt Garvin; and Kendall Blaylock.
Miss Katy Stennett read Sonnet 116 by William Shakespeare. Directing the wedding was Mrs. Rhonda Johnson, and Mrs. Shea Rea served as program attendant.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held on the lawn of the mansion. Music was provided by Rubber Soul. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Downtown Grill in Oxford.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple is currently residing in Starkville.
