Szczepanski-Wiseman wedding ceremony pledged

In an afternoon wedding on June 14, 2008, Kelly Corinne Wiseman and James Scott Szczepanski were married at Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. Martin Wiseman of Starkville. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Nell Parker and the late William Parker, Sr. of Holmes County and Starkville and Elizabeth Wiseman and the late Robert and Merle Wiseman of Kosciusko. Seated with the mother of the bride was special guest Lucy Bryant of Starkville.

The parents of the bridegroom are Mr. Jimmy Szczepanski, Debbie Szczepanski, and the late Patti Szczepanski of Hammond, Indiana. Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mildred Kroll and Adeline Szczepanski of Hammond, Ind, and Calumet City, Ill. respectively. Seated at the wedding as honorary grandparent was Diana Kroll, aunt of the bridegroom of Hammond, Ind.

The Rev. Eyleen Farmer officiated at the double ring ceremony. Wedding music was provided by soloist Hope Williamson and organist Sumner Jenkins. Mando Castellanos, Dustin Parker, and Rachel Jamison were scripture readers.

Nicole Cooley of Waynesboro, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Traci Bennett of Memphis, Rebecca Floyd of Memphis, Carly Parker of Fort Collins, Col., Summer Sellers of Olive Branch, Tina Serrano of St. Louis, Mo., and Lindsey Smith of Jackson. Flower girls were Julia Szczepanski, Marley Szczepanski, and Katlyn Szczepanski daughters of the groom. Torriane Gathright of Memphis served as ring bearer.

Tom Biller of Hammond, Ind., served as the best man. Groomsmen were Peter Harritos of Valparaiso, Ind., Jason Impson of Memphis, Mike Ramos of St. Louis, Ray Smith and Frank White of Valparaiso, Ind., and Parker Wiseman of Starkville.

Following the ceremony the bride’s parents hosted a reception in the Great Hall of the Calvary Episcopal Church. On the eve of the wedding the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner of traditional Memphis barbecue.

Following a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico the couple is at home in Memphis where the bride is a Special Education teacher with the Shelby County schools and the bridegroom is employed by ExxonMobil Incorporated.
