Bennie E. Pitts

— Graveside services for Bennie E. Pitts, 69, of Kosciusko will be held July 21 at 11 a.m. at Parkway Cemetery. He died July 17, 2008 at Hospice in His Hands in Madden.
Pitts, retired from the U.S. Air Force serving in the Vietnam War, had also been employed by Sheller Globe and the Hendry County School System. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Long of Williston, Fla., and Brenda Zamudio of Kosciusko; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Pitts; daughter, Kathy Pamela Pitts; son, Johnny Desmond Pitts.
He was the son of the late Phelan B. and Lennie Davidson Pitts.
Culpepper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is Sunday 5-8 p.m.
