Zelma Inez O'Briant

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Inez O’Briant, 85, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. O’Briant died April 30, 2008 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. She was a Jehovah Witness.

She is survived by her sons, Freddie O’Briant and Larry O’Briant and his wife Debbie all of Ethel; daughters, Peggy Horne and her husband, Van of Kosciusko, Patsy O’Briant of Ethel, and Beverly Newlin and her husband Tommy of Weir; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred O’Briant; parents, Patrick Henry and Mary Jane O’Neal; sister, Velma Armstrong; brothers, Pete, Wayne and Bob O’Neal.
