Willie Lee Davis, 91, died as a result of a house fire late Sunday/early Monday morning on Attala County Road 4203 in Sallis.
Attala County Sheriff William Lee said there has been no official cause of the fire.
Chief Deputy Tim Nail and the state fire marshall’s office worked the scene. Nail is the county’s fire inspector.
Lee said the expect Davis’ death to be ruled accidental. Officials are awaiting autopsy results.
