Annual meeting of the KADC planned for Oct. 22; architect to speak

The Kosciusko Attala Development Corporation will host the 74th Annual Meeting of the development organizations in Attala County.

“This year we welcome development progress to Kosciusko and Attala County,” KADC CEO Steve Zea said. “The KADC will welcome and recognize our newest corporate citizen, Malibu Lighting, to the community.”

“In addition, we will have a presentation on the plans to improve our local health care facilities by the architect for Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital.”

There will also be entertainment during dinner.

The gathering will be Thursday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club.

Tickets for the dinner and program are available from the KADC office for $30 each or Corporate Tables of 12 for $300 or tables of 8 for $200.

The program will also recognize retiring KADC Board members; introduce the new members; and present special awards to citizens in Attala County for their hard work and efforts towards community projects. The Lions Club will also present the Citizen of the Year Award.

Call the KADC office at 289-2981 to reserve tickets or come by the office at 124 North Jackson Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets need to be ordered or purchased by Oct. 20.
