City to hold meeting on recycling tonight

Star Herald Report

The City of Kosciusko will be holding a public meeting tonight, at 5:30 p.m. about starting a recycling program.

“Over the past few months we had inquires about starting a recycling program,” Mayor Jimmy Cockroft said. “This topic is fresh on everyone’s mind with much recent talk of ‘Green’ communities.”

“I would encourage all interested citizens to attend this very important meeting,” Cockroft said. “We plan to have representatives from recycling companies here to help us answer any questions that you may have.”

Cockroft said this is something that will take a great deal of participation to be successful and feasible for the city to do.

The City of Kosciusko is looking for the citizens imput and urges them to attend the meeting.
